Bid Synopsis: The State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) and Department of Children & Families (DCF) are seeking information from vendors pertaining to an eligibility determination system for federal and state public assistance programs. CARES (Client Assistance for Reemployment & Economic Support) is the current system used to determine eligibility for federal and state public assistance programs within DHS and DCF. The main purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain detailed strategies and recommendations regarding an eligibility system that could be maintained in its current technical infrastructure and available options for transitioning to a more flexible and cost-effective environment. This RFI is being solicited by DHS’ Division of Medicaid Services (DMS).
