The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Bureau of Parks and Recreation Management is seeking proposals from qualified contractors (the “Consultant” or “Consultant Team”) for habitat restoration design and engineering services for Havenwoods State Forest (Havenwoods). This effort builds upon an Ecological Restoration and Management Plan (ERMP) previously completed for the site (Attachment A).

This request for proposals is to develop a Habitat Restoration Plan (HRP) for Havenwoods which will detail restoration and habitat management actions, and provide the technical specifications required to implement the plan.  Services for final design and project permitting will be contracted to proceed at this time, and contingent services (which includes bid phase, construction oversight, and post-construction services) will be contracted as funding is made available. The DNR will be applying for funding through post-construction and reserves the right to authorize services through post-construction based on availability of funds and consultant performance for previous services.
