The Division of Care and Treatment Services is seeking applications for low threshold medications for opioid use disorder programs, specifically programs focused on buprenorphine induction. This service may be offered in various settings, including hospital emergency departments, pharmacies, and mobile health units. Low threshold buprenorphine induction programs offer same day, immediate enrollment in buprenorphine treatment and wraparound case management/recovery support services. Individuals are transitioned to other programs when they are stabilized where they receive maintenance buprenorphine. The total amount of funds available through this request for applications is $1,000,000. Up to three proposals will be funded. The total amount to be awarded to each proposal will be about $400,000. Priority consideration for funding will be given to applicants who plan to serve individuals in high-need, underserved areas.
