The City of Janesville has been awarded funding for a multi-use trail project under the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). To accomplish this project, the City intends to retain a consulting engineering firm to prepare plans, specification, and estimate (PS&E) for the trail project.

The purpose of the Request for Qualifications is to identify and select an engineering firm to satisfactorily accomplish the scope of services required to coordinate and complete a WisDOT PS&E for this project. All applicable WisDOT provisions must be followed as the construction of this project will include federal funding.

The scope of this work is described in the Request for Qualifications document , available on the City's website.

Interested consultants must submit qualifications to the City of Janesville by March 29, 2023, at 4 p.m. The City will not give any extensions for late submissions.

Any needed clarifications related to the RFQ will be posted by March 22, 2023.
