Request for Wire Rope
The Saint Paul District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); Maintenance and Repair Unit has a request for new wire rope for their pedestal mounted crane that resides on the crane Barge Leonard 9801. The crane is used as the primary crane in the St. Paul District to help and assist with repairs to the lock and dams and other structures on the Upper Mississippi River. This contract is to supply the necessary parts and materials as defined below in the scope of work to help aid the Maintenance and Repair Unit in continuing mission requirements in maintaining the United State Corps of Engineers structures into the future.
Supply Wire Rope for Pedestal Mounted Crane:
Provide to the government wire rope for Pedestal Mounted Crane that meets requirements listed below for diameter, construction, breaking strength, and length. See below for further information on the wire rope requirements.
NOTE: Certification papers shall accompany wire rope upon delivery. If not, rope will not be unloaded and will be returned to vendor. Vendor also should summit make and model of wire rope in submittal of quote.
