Synopsis:
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation – Acquisition and Procurement Division on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ), in accordance with FAR Part 13.
The requirement is for geotechnical investigation of a grade stabilization site in Trempealeau, County WI. Work consists of a commercial drill rig to complete four (4) soil borings to a depth of 40 feet with sampling and testing and site cleanup. The information is necessary to design a box-inlet, drop spillway as a replacement for a failed CCC structure constructed in 1934.
This solicitation is for Full and Open Competition and not restricted to small businesses only. To be eligible for award, interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov
A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.
The anticipated period of performance is 2 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is $0 to $15,000.00.
