Description

The USDA Forest Service anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for a Firm Fixed Price type contract. It is the intent of this contract to procure certain campground upgrades for the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), and incidentals to perform all work necessary.



The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) on or about June 21, 2023. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The resulting contract magnitude is anticipated to be between $250,000 and $500,000.



NAICS: 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, the size standard is $45.0 million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. Solicitation number: 12445523R0024. In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.SAM.gov, and have completed the online representations and certifications and be a certified Small Business, meeting the applicable size standard for the designated NAICS code.



All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the USDA Forest Service. There will not be any reimbursements by the government for solicitation documents. Solicitation documents are the responsibility of contractors and companies submitting them.



1. Location of Project Work



The work will be performed on Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, in Vilas County, Wisconsin.



2. Firm Fixed Price Contract



The Government will be seeking proposals for a firm fixed price contract for improvements to the electrical service; installation of a dedicated water distribution, and waste water holding tank; and the optional replacement of up to 4 vault toilets.



3. Contract Award



Under this solicitation, one contract may be awarded to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government.



4. Scope of Contract



Work includes:



* Provide electrical service to 14 locations (including host site).



* Incorporate existing pumphouse electrical panel into a new proposed electrical service point. Proposed electric service to be provided by WE Energies utility Company.



* Provide dedicated water service, and waste water holding tank at site #7.



* Optionally, replace up to 4 vault toilets at various sites around the campground.



The estimated period of performance will run from 09/06/2023-06/14/2024.
