Bid Synopsis:
|
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), through its Purchasing Unit, on behalf of Wisconsin rural transit systems, requests bids from qualified drug and alcohol testing vendors to provide Third-Party Administrator drug and alcohol testing services. These testing services will be hosted through a Consortium of approximately 25 Wisconsin transit systems operating out of over 80 locations and employing over 1,100 safety-sensitive employees.
The number of combined urine drug tests and alcohol tests conducted on annual basis by the transit systems is estimated at 1,430. The number and location of transit systems and the number of drug and alcohol tests may vary during the duration of the contract, if transit systems, as contract purchasers, join or leave the Consortium. The Third-Party Administrator will ensure the services it provides will comply with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) drug and alcohol regulations and that its service agents are qualified.
