Bid Synopsis: The State seeks a Medical Bill Auditing (MBA) Contractor to audit, re-price and pay worker’s compensation medical bills in accordance with the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) approved health service fee databases and utilize broad Preferred Provider Organization(s) (PPO) throughout the State. The State is seeking a Contractor to provide a guaranteed percentage of cost savings on Worker’s Compensation medical bills, in conjunction with a fine-tuned, user friendly work flow. The Contractor shall also review and flag: 1) duplicate bills, 2) bills for excessive treatment, and 3) bills for treatment unrelated to the compensable injuries.
