Bid Synopsis:
|
The Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Public Health (DPH) is soliciting bids for Water testing services for the Kewaunee and Point Beach areas. The Radiation Protection Section’s environmental monitoring program is a well-established on-going program to ensure that nuclear power plants do not exceed regulatory reporting levels for radioactivity in environmental samples (NUREG-1301 1991, Page 64).
Samples will be collected (weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly) using established procedures on behalf of Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Radiation Protection Section. The anticipated length of the project is expected to last 1 year.
Sample Collection:
? Sample collection frequency will vary from weekly, bi-weekly, to monthly.
? Sample collection supplies will be provided. Each sample procedure includes a list of the supplies needed to complete the sample collection.
? The types of samples to be collected are Milk, Surface Water, Well Water, Air Particulate Filters, and Air Cartridges. Locations of the samples range over an area of 17.5 square miles.
