Bid Synopsis:
|
The Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA), Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS) on behalf of the Division of Energy, Housing & Community Resources (the Division) requests Bids for inspecting the quality of Weatherization audits, materials, and installation quality in approximately four hundred to five hundred (400-500) completed Weatherization Units and approximately one hundred to two hundred fifty (100-250) appliance installations per year throughout the State.
As part of the inspection process, the Contractor shall inspect small residential buildings and completed Weatherization work, test and measure performance of the work or installed appliances, review program documentation as needed to evaluate work inspected, and interview owners or occupants of the Weatherization and Program Services work sites to determine their level of satisfaction with the work crews the quality of work and the materials installed. The work will also include reporting on inspections completed, initiating reworks required by the Division, and verifying and reporting to the Division about completion of reworks.
The State intends to use the results of this process to award up to three (3) Contracts for services providing verification that all materials installed, and work performed through the programs in question meet the specifications and practices established by the Division. The State does not guarantee to purchase any specific quantity or dollar amount.
