Bid Synopsis:

The State as represented by its Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) intends to use the results of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a contract for the above listed production and delivery of 30-, 35- and 40-foot Heavy-Duty transit buses.
Technical specifications define requirements for heavy-duty transit buses, which, by the selection of specifically identified alternative configurations, may be used for both suburban express service and general service on urban arterial streets. All buses shall have a minimum expected life of twelve (12) years or 500,000 miles, whichever comes first, and are intended for the widest possible spectrum of passengers, including children, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
