Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) requests proposals from qualified groups or individuals to design a stakeholder engagement process and facilitate comprehensive stakeholder input to collaboratively develop a prioritization and funding plan for projects that support the health and resiliency of Badger Mill Creek in Dane County, Wis. The selected group or individual will work with District staff to develop a process to identify and recruit stakeholders; design a facilitation plan that guides the group to a prioritized funding plan while supporting the necessary education and group engagement to meet the District’s August 2024 deadline.
Proposal documents are linked below. Proposals are accepted until 4:00 p.m. CDT Monday, July 24, 2023. Proposals shall be emailed to Amanda Wegner at AmandaW@madsewer.org. The email should clearly state in the subject line: “BMC Stakeholder Engagement Facilitator.”
Questions about this RFP must be sent to Amanda Wegner by 4:00 p.m. CDT Monday, July 17, 2023. Responses to questions will be posted by 4:00 p.m. CDT Tuesday, July 18, 2023. If deemed necessary, the District’s review team may conduct virtual interviews with proposal finalists to ensure fit and confirm understanding of the work.
Only formal written addenda can materially alter the specifications. No verbal statement made by a District employee or anyone else is binding nor shall such a statement be considered an official part of this public proposal. All proposal responses and their contents will be public record. Unless otherwise specified in the proposal documents, the proponent should check our internet site for any addendum 72 hours before the scheduled proposal deadline. The District is federal and state tax exempt. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any technicality and accept any proposal which may, in its opinion, be advantageous to the District.
