The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (“District”) is requesting proposals for PFAS consulting services associated with the District’s PFAS Action Plan for 2024 through 2026. The District intends to contract with the selected consultant for the calendar year of 2024 with two optional one-year renewals through end of calendar year 2026. Each optional year will be at the sole discretion of the District. Proposal documents are linked below. Written proposals will be accepted until 3 P.M. CST October 23, 2023 at the District office, 1610 Moorland Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53713. Any questions should be directed to Mary Powers at 608-222-1201 ext. 287 or maryp@madsewer.org. The District understands that proposers may have questions that cannot be answered by the information contained within this RFP. Proposers should submit those questions, via email, to Mary Powers, at MaryP@madsewer.org by 11:00 A.M. CST, Thursday, October 19, 2023.

If answers to any submitted questions would materially affect the requirements for proposals, those answers would be posted to https://www.madsewer.org/do-business-with-us/business-opportunities/contracting-center/opportunity-category/professional-services/ by 3 P.M. CST October 23, 2023.

Only formal written addenda can materially alter the specifications. No verbal statement made by a District employee or anyone else is binding nor shall such a statement be considered an official part of this public proposal. All proposal responses and their contents will be public record.

Unless otherwise specified in the proposal documents, the consultant should check our internet site for any addendum 72 hours before the scheduled proposal deadline.

The District is federal and state tax exempt. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any technicality and accept any proposal which may, in its opinion, be advantageous to the District.
