The Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) State Bureau of Procurement (SBOP), on behalf of the Division of Enterprise Technology (DET), is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) in order to gather technical input and market information from potential Vendors as the State considers a transition from current Voice Services deployed statewide to a catalog of solutions that will address current and future business.
The main purpose of the RFI is to obtain current, detailed market information regarding such solutions for DET to consider while formulating an organizational strategy and plan. Vendors are encouraged to utilize current, emerging, and next-generation voice technology solutions in their response to assist the State in understanding overall industry direction and currently available products or services that should be considered.
In addition to gaining an understanding of the current marketplace and technologies available, DET requests information regarding the following primary elements:
- Industry and Market Trends
- General Operations
- Security Standards
- Technical Architectures
- Pricing Structures
- Product Terms & Conditions
Responses to this RFI are for informational purposes only and may be used to develop a competitive procurement or to identify available options through existing Contracts to acquire a product and/or service that meets the business needs and requirements. The State will solely determine if a competitive procurement will be conducted. State selection for such product and/or services is not contingent on RFI responses. This RFI does not substitute a competitive procurement process, nor will it result in a contract.
