The Division of Care and Treatment Services is accepting applications from law enforcement agencies interested in funding to implement strategies to address the opioid epidemic in Wisconsin. The strategies to be funded include medication-assisted treatment education and awareness training for law enforcement, community drug disposal programs, treatment for people incarcerated with an opioid use disorder, and pre-arrest or pre-arraignment deflection programs for people with an opioid use disorder. The deadline to apply for funding for one or more of these strategies is 11:59 p.m. June 2, 2023.
