The City of Janesville is seeking proposals to update its zoning ordinance and subdivision ordinance, and amend references within related chapters as necessary to maintain consistency throughout the Code of General Ordinances. The current zoning ordinance was adopted in 1981, with subsequent amendments occurring over time on an as-needed basis. The ordinance is in need of updating in order to provide greater opportunity for the continued growth and success of the community in accord with the recently-updated City of Janesville Comprehensive Plan.

The City of Janesville will accept proposals through 4:30 p.m. CST, Friday, March 1, 2024.
